Milo-Gray Artist

 "My work is inspired by the natural world, the gardens and the people surrounding my studio in a Devon village. I am inspired by the brilliant colours and the observational detail of medieval and early Renaissance artists, especially the Northern European painters.  I prepare my own gesso panels and build up an underpainting in egg tempera and complete the painting with glazes in oils. 

    I often incorporate gold, platinum and copper leaf in my work, this adds an extra dimension, elevating the subject matter for contemplation."

Milo-Gray is a South West Academician and  has  exhibited several times in the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition, the West of England Academy, the South West Academy and in galleries in Devon, Surrey, St Helier , Cambridge and Broadway. Her  paintings are in several private collections and are also reproduced in greetings cards by Canns Down Press ,Towell & Scott and Mistletoe House.
